They Made Loving No Fun! Fleetwood Mac Men Brutally Betrayed Stevie Nicks

The world was shocked to hear that Stevie Nicks was brutally treated by longtime boyfriend and Fleetwood Mac band-mate, Lindsay Buckingham! Now RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal he wasn't the only member of the iconic band to devastate the beautiful '70s siren.

Bandleader Mick Fleetwood stole Nicks away from Buckingham — only to tear her heart apart by dumping her for her best friend.

That is the stunning revelation revealed in an exclusive interview with Stephen Davis, author of Gold Dust Woman, the new book that lays bare the devastating disappointments of rock's now 69-year-old, leading lady.

"Stevie was reeling from the brutal treatment she received from Lindsay and found love and comfort in Mick's arms while they were making the "Tusk" album in 1978," Davis told RadarOnline.com

"Sara Recor was Stevie's best friend. She even wrote the song Sara about her. They were inseparable, but, after Stevie started seeing Mick, he left her for Sara and Stevie was devastated again," said Davis.

"I lost Mick … and I lost my best friend," Nicks once recalled. "That was a huge blow. Sara was banished from the studio by the rest of the band. I wouldn't even look directly at Mick."

And while the incident fed the band's dysfunctional writing process, the latest betrayal paved the way for Nick's departure from the band and fantastically successful solo career.

"She was terribly abused in that band," Davis revealed. "But her escape and success was her biggest revenge!"
