Shannen Doherty is "staying positive" after receiving scary news following her battle with breast cancer.
"Test and results. One tumor marker test came back good. Other… elevated," the actress wrote on Instagram this Wednesday. "Just means I get monitored and another test. But even after that call, I'm staying positive and taking stock of my life."
The 46-year-old added that it was unfortunate, but part of her recovery.
"It certainly helps put things in perspective and reminds you of what you learned thru the cancer journey," she added. "And I sometimes, need a refresher. As I've said before, cancer changes your life in ways no one could ever imagine."
As RadarOnline.com readers know Doherty went on remission on April 28, 2017. Despite the shocking turn of events, she told fans this week that she's "#stillacancerslayer."
"As every single one of my fellow cancer family knows, the next five years is crucial," she wrote in an Instagram message last year. "Reoccurrences happen all the time. Many of you have shared that very story with me. So with a heart that is certainly lighter, I wait."
The Hollywood beauty — who is currently filming her show Heathers — previously admitted that it's been a tough few years fighting cancer, but it's her work and the people around her that motivate her and push her to conquer the "unimaginable beast."
