Rihanna For President! Singer Being Hotly Courted For Longterm Career In Politics

Following on from her new appointment as ambassador of Barbados, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively Rihanna is being hotly courted for a long-term career in politics.

“She’s highly intelligent and comes from a place of wanting to make a difference to the world,” an insider told Radar. “So something more high profile is a serious possibility down the line.”

On Thursday Sept. 20, Rihanna was appointed as an “ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary” for her native island nation.

Already a cultural ambassador for Barbados, Rihanna’s expanded role will see her promote education, tourism and investment in her home country.

“I couldn’t be more proud to take on such a prestigious title in my home country,” Rihanna said after accepting the new role. “Every Barbadian is going to have to play their role in this current effort, and I’m ready and excited to take on the responsibility.”

But friends say this is just the first step for the politically active singer.

“Rihanna has so much class and would walk into a role in the UN like Angelina Jolie and David Beckham have, but she’s thinking about something even more challenging,” the insider added.

And the sky is the limit in terms of her aspirations. As long as she’s keeping up with the Kardashians, RiRi will be happy.
