According to the source, Shannon, 54 — who has a new boyfriend, Alex, as well as a hot new summer body with the help of trainer Steven Michael Sanada — changed her stance on her ex after viewing old episodes of RHOC!

“Shannon was looking at old episodes and the only thing that she really regrets now is not leaving David sooner after all the b******t he put her through. She wishes she would have pulled the plug after his first affair and regrets that she didn’t,” the insider told Radar.

“She is just in such a better and happier place now than she’s ever been in and thinks that she deserves all of the blessings in life that she is getting," the source said.

“Her boyfriend Alex is just everything that David is not and she knows now what real love feels like and how it feels to be truly appreciated and respected by a man.”
