Dr. Abasolo allegedly “engaged in a comprehensive insurance fraud scheme designed to obtain payments from All State for treatment that was never rendered, was medically unnecessary, and was not lawfully rendered.”

Patients were also referred for multiple MRIs, almost none of which were medically necessary.

“Unnecessary imaging may do more harm than good,” the complaint read. “Multiple randomized controlled trials have shown that the early use of imaging for lower back pain is not associated with improved outcomes and may even be harmful to the patient.”

Dr. Abasolo and the other Defendants denied the claims made against them in their response.

The case was dismissed with prejudice without costs or fees to any party on March 22, 2017.

Dr. Abasolo isn’t the only contestant Lindsay should look out for.

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Dean Unglert was arrested for minor in possession of alcohol and possession of a false ID.

“The bouncer stated that Unglert had asked for it back and had become belligerent when the bouncer refused,” the report from the August 7, 2011 incident read. “The bouncer stated that Unglert had called him an ‘a*****e’ and had become abusive.”

When the reporting officer found him near the club, he noticed Unglert was “intoxicated, as he had red watery eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. I told Unglert that he was under arrest, and placed handcuffs on him.”

Unglert pled guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 12 months probation. He was ordered to complete 24 hours of community service and pay $156 in fines.
