CNN Anchor Poppy Harlow Faints Live On Air — Slurs Her Words & Collapses
Poppy Harlow may need to take a longer holiday break.
The CNN news anchor passed out live on the air Monday morning, slurring her words and getting woozy as she struggled to speak on camera.
While introducing a segment on the network's latest poll on Americans' attitudes about the war on terrorism, Harlow lost track of her sentence.
Though she was off-camera for the faint itself, the 33-year-old could be heard gasping for air as she lost consciousness.
Later that morning, Harlow returned to the show, explaining to viewers, "I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine !"
The TV personality also assured Twitter fans that she was all right, posting: "Thank you all for your concern and messages! I am ok! Passed out briefly and am with the doctor now. So thankful to our amazing CNN team."
