Taylor Swift can never get away from the ghost of Kanye West!

The stunning singer was accepting the Favorite Country Artist award at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night in Los Angeles when Olivia Munn pulled a Kanye and tried to take the award away from her.

Wearing a super sexy white Ralph Lauren gown with a plunging neckline, Taylor smiled nervously when Olivia refused to give her the statue, and joked: “This always happens to me…God!”

Olivia had joked earlier that Taylor wrote We are Never Ever Getting Back Together about her, and after clutching the statue she good naturedly left the stage -- unlike Kanye who famously interrupted Taylor at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009.

Taylor took the joke in stride and then gushed about winning the award.

“I want to thank the fans because this is a fan voted award, and I absolutely love you with all of my heart. I want to thank radio, and I want to thank the fans for calling radio and being like, ‘Play her music.’ Thank you for doing that.

“You guys have blown my mind with what you’ve done for this album Red, and I just want to thank you for caring about my music and for caring about me. Thank you so much you guys, I love you"'

Having just broken up with One Direction singer Harry Styles, Taylor had another awkward moment when she left the stage and his band’s hit song Live While We’re Young was played.
