Pete Davidson Appears On ‘SNL’ Hours After Suicide Drama Unfolds

A pale Pete Davidson appeared on Saturday Night Live for seconds hours after his suicidal tweet drama unfolded hours earlier. Though the show host usually does the honor, Davidson, 25, introduced the night’s musical guest, Miley Cyrus, who has a new song out with his ex fiancée, Ariana Grande.
Davidson only appeared in one other sketch, which was pre-taped, and his suicide post hours earlier was not addressed during the troubled comedian’s brief time on screen. As RadarOnline.com reported, on Dec. 15, Davidson briefly posted a message telling fans that he really doesn’t “want to be on this Earth anymore” and “just remember I told you so.”
He then deleted the post — along with his entire Instagram account. As a result, a terrified Grande, 25, rushed to show Davidson her support, tweeting him, “I’m downstairs and I’m not going anywhere if you need anyone or anything. I know u have everyone u need and that’s not me, but I’m here too.” Less than two weeks ago, Davidson laid bare his struggles with bipolar depression and suicidal feelings "in hopes that it will help bring awareness and help kids like myself."
However, he reassured at the time: “I just want you guys to know. No matter how hard the internet or anyone tries to make me kill myself. I won’t. I’m upset I even have to say this."
