35-year-old Jeremiah Johnston has been identified as a suspect in the slaughter of an Oregon model found dismembered in Aloha last week.

He was arrested and booked at the Washington County Jail on charges of homicide and abuse of a corpse.

He is being held without bail.

Authorities revealed Johnston was taken into custody last Thursday after 28-year-old Sara Zghoul's body was found dismembered and decapitated and stuffed inside two suitcases in a black BMW near his parents' home.

Oregon court records show Johnston has convictions between 2014 and 2017 for cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine possession, delivery of cocaine, identity theft and felon in possession of a firearm.

An anonymous person reportedly alerted the cops after the crime was committed, and pointed them towards the vehicle.

“During their investigation, detectives identified the suspect and distributed that information to local law enforcement agencies,” the Washington County Sheriff’s Office stated in a release obtained by RadarOnline.com. “Shortly after 11:00 p.m. last night, Beaverton Police officers located the suspect near Southwest Murray Boulevard and Southwest Teal Boulevard and took him into custody.”
