Meg Ryan's Estranged Family Begs Her To Reach Out Before Wedding To John Mellencamp

Meg Ryan's family members are desperate to mend fences with her after a decades-long estrangement before she weds John Mellencamp, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
As wedding rumors fly about the When Harry Met Sally star and her rocker beau, her parents and sisters are begging her to stop isolating them and reconcile in time for the big day!
The drama began back in the early '90s when Ryan, 56, had a falling out with her mother, Susan, and sister Dana over her then-husband Dennis Quaid's alleged drug use. Meg's marriage to bad boy Quaid flopped in 2001, but the tension between her family members remained.
Dana, 57, was last found working at a Cape Cod supermarket, earning just $255 a week. And, according to Ryan's father Harry, 80, her other sister Annie, 51, isn't doing much better.
"Annie's had a problem with her heart and she had some hip problems, so she's disabled," Harry said in an exclusive sit-down interview. "Annie is very sensitive and she's in a hurting situation; she's getting divorced and she's living with a friend. It's kind of difficult."
Former math teacher teacher Harry said he promised Ryan not to divulge the details of their personal relationship, but it appears he’s had little to do with his famous daughter in recent years. As RadarOnline.com has reported, she's shared romantic getaways with Mellencamp.
At one point, the two had split up, but they were together again last year and it's believed they will get married.
But Ryan's father seemed clueless, saying in the recent interview, “I follow in the paper what’s going on with Meg, is she back with John Mellencamp? It would be wonderful if they got married.” But sadly, he revealed, sadly, that he doesn’t even know the name of his granddaughter, 13-year-old Daisy. “I know Meg adopted, is it a Korean girl? Is it Kelly?”
The rift between Meg and her mother is also as wide as ever.
“I haven’t seen my daughter since 1989. Sadly, no I’m not in touch with her,” Susan said when contacted, and admitted she was skeptical that Meg would save a place for her at the wedding. “I have no idea, honestly.”
