Matthew Perry has admitted he's spent three months in a hospital bed—but RadarOnline.com readers already knew!

The star revealed that he had surgery to surgery to repair a ruptured bowel. Radar exclusively reported last month about the former Friends actor's serious medical crisis that left him fighting for his life.

Perry, 49, was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital for "severe stomach pains," a source told Radar back then. And on Friday, the actor took to Twitter to write, “Three months in a hospital bed. Check.”

But Radar had already broken the news in August as a rep for Perry confirmed that Perry “recently underwent surgery in a Los Angeles hospital to repair a gastrointestinal perforation.”

His spokeswoman also said Perry was “grateful for the concern and asks for continued privacy as he heals."

Now, however, the comedian wants to check in with fans during his recovery. Friday's health tweet was his first since March. A punctured bowel — or gastrointestinal perforation — can occur along any point in the wall of the gastrointestinal tract, including the stomach, small intestine and large intestine, medical experts say.

Symptoms include severe abdominal pain. Perry has previously confided his past struggles with alcohol and Vicodin addiction.

He shot to fame in the 1990s opposite Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer on Friends, but since then, as Radar has noted, Perry has been on a downward spiral. He got sober and created a halfway house for addicts, but then shut down his recovery business.

In recent photos, Perry has appeared bloated and disheveled looking.
