Snubbed! Matt Lauer NOT Invited To Met Ball After Sexual Harassment Scandal

Matt Lauer is totally out of fashion!

RadarOnline.com has learned the disgraced Today anchor is no longer welcome at the Met Gala, Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintours exclusive annual social event held each May in New York City.

"Anna always personally invited Matt to the Met Gala, and he was included on her VIP list of guests that must be given an invitation for free,” an insider said.

But that was then, this is now.

Despite his previous status as an in-demand NBC star, Lauer, 60, no longer has the same power after he was dumped from his popular morning show last fall following allegations he had engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.

“There was no invitation to Matt this year, which wasn't surprising,” the insider told Radar.

Lauer’s ex, Annette Roque, 51, didn’t suffer the same fashion fate.

“Anna personally invited Annette,” revealed the insider, noting the infamous editrix “has been actively pursuing Annette hoping she would agree to do a photo shoot and brief interview for Vogue.”

The former model sent a note and “politely declined” the honor.

The Met Gala will be held tonight in New York. Celebs including Priyanka Chopra, Selena Gomez, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Katy Perry will be walking the red carpet at the famous A-list soiree.
