Love 'Em And Leave 'Em! Mama June Admits She Used Sugar Bear For 'Rebound Sex'

Sometimes love has strange beginnings.

Before their sudden split last year, "Mama" June Shannon and Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson dated for ten years, and even welcomed a pageant queen daughter, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson, now 10.

But the relationship was only intended as a one-night stand, the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo matriarch, 36, confesses in RadarOnline.com's exclusive preview clip for the upcoming episode of WE tv's Marriage Boot Camp Reality Stars.

"When we first met, it was a hook'em, and book'em situation," Shannon tells the cameras. "Because all I was in for was some rebound sex!"

Earlier in the video, Shannon and her female costars, including Bachelor winner Catherine Lowe, attempt to write love letters to their spouses with guidance from directors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll.

Jim reveals that Shannon calls her mate "big baby boo boo" as a pet name.

The couple, who broke up in September 2014 amid rumors Thompson, 43, cheated, have had a tumultuous year. Just a month after the split, Shannon was caught canoodling with a felon ex-boyfriend who was imprisoned for sexually abusing her 22-year-old daughter Anna when she was just 8.

The family's TMC reality show was abruptly canceled in the wake of the scandal.
