Maci Bookout Accuses Ryan Edwards Of Threatening To Hurt Her While High On Heroin
April 2 2018, Updated 7:39 p.m. ET
Maci Bookout requested an order of protection against her baby daddy Ryan Edwards days before he was arrested. Now, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that the Teen Mom OG star filed the petition because she feared for her safety!
In the order of protection obtained from Hamilton County Circuit Court, Bookout, 26, filed the request on March 23, 2018. Edwards, 30, was arrested days later on March 27 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, from a March 2017 simple possession of heroin arrest.
In the petition, she asked her son Bentley, 9, with Edwards and her children Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1, with husband Taylor McKinney be protected under the order.
"He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son," she claimed. "He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don't answer my phone."
During her son's baseball game in May 2017, she claimed Edwards "showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me."
Bookout explained how she fears for her son's safety because she has proof that he drives while under the influence.
As readers know, Edwards was caught on camera slurring his words and falling asleep at the wheel. After the shocking scene aired, he entered rehab for heroin abuse.
"His behavior and actions are getting worse," she alleged. "I am fearful for my three children and myself, and what he may do, based on his threats."
Bookout is asking that he refrain from contacting her or her three children. She also requested he stay away from her home and workplace.
She checked off that he not "hurt or threaten to hurt" any animals she owns.
As for temporary custody, she explained how he does not have any custodial rights to their son.
The court issued a temporary order of protection. She has a court hearing on April 2 at 1:30.
The Ashley's Reality Roundup was the first to report on the order of protection request.
