Family Of Ryan Edwards' Fiancée Holding Drug Intervention For 'Teen Mom' Dad
Maci Bookout isn't the only one in Ryan Edwards' corner amid his drug abuse scandal. His fiancée Mackenzie Standifer's father exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that they are holding an intervention for the fallen Teen Mom OG star.
"We'll get together and talk about it," Bob Standifer Jr. told RadarOnline.com. "Mackenzie and Ryan are adults. I won't talk without them present. Anything that we talk about, we're all going to sit down together."
Despite Ryan's substance abuse issues, Bob insisted he is still excited for Maci's baby daddy to be his future son-in-law.
"Ryan is a great guy," he said.
Maci, 25, broke down on this week's episode of TMOG when discussing how his family is in denial over his addiction to drugs.
"He would do it," she said of rehab. "It's everyone else around him that's afraid to admit it. He's got me. Everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health. It's all denial. The hardest thing is to see Ryan not love himself. He's a person who deserves to love himself."
She then vowed to help him and make sure he gets clean for the sake of their 8-year-old son Bentley.
"I'm going to be like, you have to go to rehab," she told her husband Taylor McKinney. "Right now it's about saving his life. Most nights I'm crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day he's going to die."
When the episode aired, Mackenzie confirmed his drug use.
"Here's a thought… maybe instead of making assumptions and tearing people down, you could spend that time praying for us instead," she tweeted, adding, "Strong is beautiful."

She then hinted that her relationship with Ryan is still going strong despite his substance abuse issues.
"Being married someday is going to be so dope," she retweeted. "Like you get to come home to your best friend every single day and just do life together."
As RadarOnline.com reported, Ryan and Mackenzie will tie the knot on November 18, 2017 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Ryan sparked substance abuse issues last season when he was accused of being high when he slurred his words and seemed out of it on an episode. He denied the drug rumors at the time.
