Luann de Lesseps knows money can’t buy you class – but she also knows it can pay for bills! RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the Countess has an estranged sister who is sick and struggling to afford medical treatments.

Patti Nadeau, of Berlin, Connecticut, has flown under the RadarOnline.com for years as the New York housewife rose to fame and amassed millions. While de Lesseps was busy listing her Sag Harbor, New York mansion for a cool $6.2 million earlier this year, RadarOnline.com has discovered that her troubled sister set up a donation page asking for help with her medical bills.

“I don’t work because of severe pain in my spine, neck and back,” de Lesseps' sister wrote on the public donation page.

“I have fibromyalgia, diabetes and mental health issues..please help if you can. Any help would be a blessing..,” Nadeau wrote.

Nadeau created the page in February 2018, and she claimed her insurance does not cover the cost of her medical treatments. Around the same time, de Lesseps reportedly had dished out thousands to attend a pricey rehab center frequented by celebs including Mariah Carey.

RadarOnline.com has also exclusively learned that the Countess’s sister previously filed for bankruptcy in her home state three times.

Documents obtained by RadarOnline.com showed Nadeau filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy twice in 2003. Both cases were ultimately dismissed, a court clerk told RadarOnline.com. However, the documents showed the reality star’s sister claimed to have $10 in a checkings account in February 2003 while her debts had estimated between $50,000 and $100,000.

Then, in 2004, Nadeau filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. According to documents reviewed by RadarOnline.com, de Lesseps’ sister was in $82,000 of debt for the mortgage of her Connecticut home. She also owed $5,200 for her Ford explorer and hundreds in real estate taxes and her water/sewer usage bill.

At the time, the reality star’s sister claimed to own a total of $200 in clothes and $200 in costume jewelry. As RadarOnline.com readers know, de Lesseps flashed the 8-carat canary diamond engagement ring Tom D’Agostino proposed to her with in 2016. The sparkler reportedly cost a quarter of a million dollars.

In 2005, the court granted Nadeau a discharge in the chapter 7 filing.

De Lesseps’ mother, Rolande, and sister, Renee, were featured on a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New York to attend the star's debut cabaret show. Nadeau, however, did not appear on the episode.

Nadeau was unable to be reached for comment.
