Loretta Lynn is still in poor health over one year after suffering a massive stroke that left her temporarily speechless, RadarOnline.com can exclusively report.
The country legend’s niece, Madonna Webb, told RadarOnline.com on Thursday that she is “not doing well right now.”
News of the 86-year-old’s declining health comes just days after her ex daughter-in-law, Cindy Plemons, suddenly passed away hours after attending a concert at Lynn’s ranch. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Lynn suffered complications from a massive stroke last May that left her unable to speak or sing.
Then in January, the singer suffered a scary fall and broke her hip. Her niece said the singer is still undergoing physical therapy because she’s not completely mobile.
“The doctors go to one of her houses,” said Webb. “She’s still being under care for that.”
However, on social media, Lynn appears to be working hard on a new album.
“At the ranch yesterday filming for a music video for my new album called Wouldn’t It Be Great,” the singer captioned a photo of herself in front of a camera on Facebook.
Although Webb said it will take a long time for Lynn to heal after the stroke and broken hip, she luckily “still has her voice.”
Most recently, Lynn’s brother, Herman Webb, is suffering health issues of his own. The singer’s brother has been in and out of the hospital due to an original diagnosis of pneumonia.
“She called him the other day to talk to him while he was home for a couple days,” her niece said.
