Kenya's 'RHOA' Replacement Revealed As Reality Star Refuses Part-Time Role

Kenya Moore’s life is the pits right now.

The controversial reality star was demoted from her job as a full-time cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and RadarOnline.com has the exclusive scoop on her replacement, Marlo Hampton.

“Marlo is the front runner for Kenya’s slot,” a show insider snitched to RadarOnline.com. “She’s been told they would love her to have a peach if she’s able to deliver the drama this summer!”

Moore’s refusal to film her secret wedding and her husband, Marc Daly, last season ended up with her getting fined $125,000 and not appearing on all of the episodes. And that played a major factor into the decision to hire Hampton to replace her.

After all of that, Moore still refused to recognize that she was her own worst enemy.

“Her pride won’t allow her to be part-time,” the insider revealed to RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She wants to be a full-time housewife or nothing.”

Hampton’s addition to the show was a move that the show producers felt strongly about.

“The theme of this season is ‘new beginnings’ and they want to return to bolder, edgier and classier storylines and trips this year,” the source revealed. “They don’t want Kenya anymore. This season is about just the core characters and their families. That doesn’t include Kenya.”

A source close Moore told RadarOnline.com that she made the final call about appearing on the highest rated Bravo show in the franchise.

“Kenya doesn't want to be on RHOA anymore. Truth is, she's got so much else going on in her life and she's about to have a baby with the love of her life. Unlike the other girls, the show is all they have. Kenya feels like she's outgrown the drama and believes she's bigger than the pettiness of the show.”
