Kelly Clarkson didn't mince words when she told music producer Dr. Luke that she is doesn't like him, according to court documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.

In a June 13, 2017 deposition filed in connection to Dr. Luke's defamation suit against singer Kesha, Clarkson testified she had it out with the producer in 2008 when they were in the studio working on her song “My Life Would Suck Without You."

Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, has been embroiled in a nasty court battle with Kesha, and sued the pop singer for defamation after she claimed the producer had raped her and another singer, Katy Perry.

Dr. Luke has claimed Kesha was involved in a plan to destroy his reputation, which he said has damaged his ability to work in the music industry.

In her deposition, Clarkson said at one point during a 2008 recording session, Dr. Luke went up to her and said, "Hey, you know, I don’t know what that problem is, you know, between us."

Clarkson said she then responded, "Man, you know exactly what the problem is between us. You know, like things that have gone down behind the scenes. ... You know I don’t like you. And it’s cool like I don’t have to like you, you don’t have to like me. There’s plenty of people in the world and, you know, I hope you’re successful in your ventures. I’m going to be successful in mine. We don’t have to work together. You know why I’m here. I have to be here ... I’m like, ‘I’m not mad about it. I’m not angry. I just don’t want you in my life.’”

When she was asked how the producer responded to her directness, Kelly said in “pure Dr. Luke fashion,” the producer just chucked and walked off.

Clarkson testified she has not talked to Luke since that interaction.

In court documents, Kesha said Dr. Luke also had issues with anger. In her deposition, however, Clarkson also said she has never seen Dr. Luke explode on anyone.

“He is very like sneaky with it," Clarkson said in her testimony about the producer. "Like he is very like, like I said, just kind of dismissive and belittling and, you know, throw out jabs like it’s that kind of thing. It’s not like, I have never seen him like blow up on anyone.”

When asked if other musicians have complained about Dr. Luke, Clarkson said she heard other artists, such as Pink, don't like working with him.

“I was not told this via Pink," Clarkson said in her deposition. "I was told via my label because there like, you know, we’re having a hard time with him working with other people. And they said actually almost every female at our label doesn’t like working with him.”

In the meantime, Dr. Luke's attorney also filed a motion on Nov. 2 to unseal Perry's deposition that they claim is relevant to their motion for a summary judgement in the defamation case.

Attorney Jeffrey Movit said a prior decision by a judge to seal Perry's testimony was not “conclusive,” because Perry's motion to seal “did not address the merits of this action, and the testimony at issue was not relied on by any of the parties in connection with those prior motions.”
