Kate Middleton, Prince William and their new baby son had their first visitors on Tuesday when the happy grandparents showed up at the hospital to meet the little infant.

The Prince of Cambridge was born on Monday, July 22 at 4:24 pm London time and he spent the night with both parents in the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton were the first to visit their first grandchild, the future King of England, and they spoke to reporters outside the hospital after the visit.

Kate’s mother said the baby is “absolutely beautiful,” and that the new parents are coping “fabulously.”

Carole also said “They are both doing really well, and we are so thrilled.”

William’s father Prince Charles and his step-mother Camilla visited the new baby after Kate’s parents and he said his grandson was “marvelous.”

The future monarch will be living with his parents at Kensington Palace after they leave the hospital.
