Kanye West Jokes He's Afraid To Leave Wife Kim Alone With Donald Trump

Kanye West went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about Donald Trump, wife Kim Kardashian and his new album, Ye.

Kimmel, 50, started off the conversation by asking West, 41, if he was afraid to leave Kardashian, 37, alone with Trump when she went to meet him inside the Oval Office.

“Well he is a player,” joked West, later commending his wife for accomplishing her dream of freeing Alice Johnson from prison.

“She’s super passionate about it and it was amazing for her to see that dream come true,” said the rapper.

West also explained his love of Trump and admitted that he supports the controversial president no matter what African Americans, Hollywood stars, friends and family members tell him to think and say.

RadarOnline.com readers know West got much backlash after he was caught wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat, defending Trump’s highly-debated verdicts and suggesting that slavery was a “choice.”

Kardashian even thought about divorcing him after his comments brought the family so much hate—a fact which West brought up in his new song, “Wouldn’t Leave.”

“The main thing that I was stressing is the idea of trying love. We’re always pushing out so much hate, and love can cure so much,” West told Kimmel, still defending his views.

“I think that’s a beautiful thought, but just in literal terms, there are families being torn apart at the border of this country. There are literally families being torn apart as a result of what this president is doing,” fired back Kimmel, ending the show.
