Jon & Kate Gosselin's Son Collin 'Can't Wait' To Come Home From Treatment, Friend Claims
Jon and Kate Gosselin's troubled son Collin has been living in a treatment center for more than two years, and now, the teen "can't wait" to go home, a family friend exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Jon's close friend and barber Eric Rodriguez said the 14-year-old was "a little down" when he mentioned the facility during a haircut last weekend. (The teen was visiting dad Jon — who as RadarOnline.com first reported, filed for full custody of Collin last month — and sister Hannah, 14, at home in Pennsylvania for just a few days.)
"When Collin was here, he got a little down when I asked him if he was excited to go back to the facility...He was bummed about going back. He just said to me, 'I can't wait for Thanksgiving break! And to come home,'" recalled Eric, a barber at Mike and Joe's Barber Salon in Reading.
And when he arrives home — and possibly lives with dad Jon full time — Collin hopes to go to a local public high school with Hannah, who also lives with Jon after a nasty, years-long custody battle.
"I asked him if he was excited about going to regular school and he said, yeah he's super excited about it," Eric continued. "He just said he didn't like his other school that he was in before that facility, the one that Kate had him in."
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Collin has spent the past two years at a inpatient facility following Kate's admission her son had "special needs."
A source told RadarOnline.com in 2016 he suffered from anger issues.

But despite the teen's troubled past, Eric described Collin as a "really nice kid — very respectful."
"I can definitely tell that he can't wait to come home," Jon's pal told RadarOnline.com. "I don't think he really likes the place."
"Let's hope he gets out soon."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Jon filed for full custody of Collin on October 24, claiming it's in the boy's best interest to live with him upon his release from treatment.
According to Eric, Collin is expected to make his return home before Christmas.
