Jodie Sweetin’s ex may really need the actress' Fuller House money after all, according to an income declaration he filed in a Los Angeles court March 22, and obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com.
The bitter court battle between Sweetin, 39 and her former husband, Morty Coyle, 49, got uglier as the actress is allegedly refusing to pay up and follow a judge’s orders, which include dishing out $10,000 for Coyle’s fees.
Coyle, who is asking Sweetin for spousal support, listed his occupation as a DJ at The Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA, making only a mere $500 per week.
In the docs he estimates Sweetin’s income to be $70,000 per month based off “multiple TV shows, appearances, speaking engagements, royalties from previous TV shows and book."
Coyle claims in the filing he has $1,800 in his checking/savings account, and $16,000 in "stocks, bonds and other assets."
He lists his total monthly expenses as $5,405 — basically double what Coyle claims to rake in monthly from his DJ gig.
But his parents are to thank for his lifestyle. “I have been borrowing funds from my parents to cover various living expenses since November 2016," Coyle writes.
The exes finalized their divorce in 2016, but they were back in Los Angeles Superior Court last month when a judge order both to submit to hair follicle testing for drug use after Coyle accused Sweetin of being a danger to their 7-year-old daughter, Beatrix.
Sweetin, who has admitted to drinking at 14 and experimenting with cocaine, ecstasy and crystal meth, has a long history of substance abuse and stays in rehab. The actress now claims she’s been sober for over six years.
The judge on the case ordered both parties to hash out a confidentiality agreement regarding their test results.
According to the court notice, filed February 28, Sweetin and Coyle had agreed to get tested for drugs within 12 hours of the request made by either party.
But on March 27, RadarOnline.com leanred exclusively Sweetin was ordered to return to court after Coyle accused her of refusing to submit to a drug test.
According to Los Angeles Superior Court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Sweetin must show up on May 23 to fight claims she is in contempt of court.
Sweetin first filed for legal separation from her third husband, Coyle, in June 2013, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They currently share custody of their daughter.
