Jennifer Garner went on Today Wednesday to continue her campaign to take control of her life and discuss the disintegration of her marriage to Ben Affleck.

"We'll make it work," Garner, 43, insisted to Savannah Guthrie.

Despite her resolve, she conceded getting over the meltdown of her ten-year marriage was tough.

"It's not easy to go through it — period," the Miracles From Heaven actress told Guthrie. "I have found going through it in the public eye, it's just another facet of it. But for anyone, when your life shifts in any way, it's tricky enough."

Still, she added, "I have found people to be so warm and loving that it hasn't been nearly as bad as you might imagine."

The same can't be said for Affleck, 43. As RadarOnline.com reported, Affleck was livid after Garner broke their agreement to not discuss their relationship or his cheating with the nanny when she recently gave a revenge interview to Vanity Fair.

Publicly, however, Affleck continues to try to play nice.

"We're good friends and we're doing our best and our kids are fabulous and we're working our best for them," he told Ellen DeGeneres Wednesday on her talk show.
