Awkward! Inside Jen's Plan To Avoid Justin As She Preps Move To NYC For New Show
It could be an awkward reunion.
RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively Jennifer Aniston is moving to New York to film her new series…and she'll be dangerously close to ex Justin Theroux's back yard!
"Jen will be living full time in New York while the show is shot," a source revealed, adding that Aniston can ignore her ex if she wants to. "She's lived there twice before and knows her way around, well enough to avoid any awkward run-ins with Justin."
She's also making sure their social circles don't overlap, and cutting out anyone with ties to the 46-year-old star of The Leftovers.
Aniston, 49, is gearing up to shoot her new, untitled Apple series, co-staring Reese Witherspoon, starting October 1, and is expected to film in the Big Apple until the end of the year.
"She's actually been involved in the project for almost two years behind the scenes – before her divorce," the source added. "Back then she was thinking it would bring her closer to Justin, but now it's taken on a whole new turn by placing her in Justin's stomping ground."
Aniston has no plans to drop out of the project, which is part of her new plan to, as she said, "make better choices" both professionally and personally. The highly anticipated show could be a major comeback for the former Friends breakout.
"The positive is Jen is the star of this show and will get top billing over Reese, who plans to commute from L.A.," the source confirmed. "This is really going to be a Jen-heavy series about a morning TV show and is going to need her working every day on it."
