‘90 Day Fiancé Split! Jason Hitch Files For Divorce From Cassia Tavares – Again!

Another 90 Day Fiancé couple has called it quits. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Jason Hitch revealed what forced him to file for divorce from wife Cassia Tavares for a second time.
According to Hernando Court Circuit Court in Florida, Hitched filed for divorce from Tavares on September 7, 2018. Starcasm was the first to report on the filing.
Hitch exclusively told RadarOnline.com how the couple didn’t have a “good foundation.”
“A successful relationship is communication, physical attraction and doing whatever it takes,” Hitch told RadarOnline.com. “Right now it’s time to go in different directions. I think we’ll remain friends. She knows I have her best interests at heart.”
Despite other 90 Day Fiancé stars being accused of marrying for a green card, Hitch insisted Tavares married him for love.
“She did not come here just to become an American citizen,” he defended. “She had a good life in Brazil. She was about to finish college. She didn’t have to marry me.”
He also explained how he doesn’t believe she will be deported back to Brazil, as she recently earned a college degree.
As for Hitch, he is taking a break from dating because the Army is deploying him in January.
“I’ll be deployed from nine months to a year,” he said, adding, “The deployment wasn’t a factor in the divorce. If there is indecision, you can’t build a foundation on that.”
As for the divorce itself, Hitch said it was mutual and “uncontested.”
“There will be no alimony payments,” he claimed. “No fighting over anything.”
Hitch first filed for divorce from Tavares on January 30, 2018.
“I did everything I could,” he told RadarOnline.com at the time. “I took her to every major city in the country. We went to Vegas four times. I paid for resorts to stay for weekends. We saw every show and concert, hung out with celebrities. I had expectations from her and she wasn’t fulfilling them. She wasn’t communicating with me what they were. She would not talk. I had to beg for attention. It was humiliating.”
He dismissed the petition on March 15, 2018.
“I still love her,” Hitch told RadarOnline.com in April. “I don’t want a divorce. I love her and I want to take care of her. What kind of man would I be if I quit this relationship?”
In January 2017, Hitch was arrested for domestic battery against Tavares.
“Cassia Tavares and her husband, Jason Hitch, began arguing over marital issues while lying in bed,” the reporting officer wrote in the police report obtained by RadarOnline.com. “Jason then grabbed Tavares by her left arm, leaving a mark and then pushed Rita off of the bed causing her to fall to the floor. Jason then began screaming at Tavares to the point Tavares was in fear and dialed 911 for law enforcement.”
The officer confirmed she had “redness just above the crease of her inner arm on her lower bicep.”
When the officer made contact with Hitch, he explained how “nothing happened” and Tavares was being “rude and refused to sleep on the couch.” He claimed he “did not know” how she got the red mark on her arm.
The case was dropped.
