90 Day Fiancé stars Jason Hitch and Cassia Tavares have called it quits – and this time it’s for good. One year after Hitch was arrested for domestic battery against his wife, he’s revealing exclusive details to RadarOnline.com on what led to the end of their rocky marriage.

“It’s a combination of everything,” Hitch told RadarOnline.com. “I did everything I could. I took her to every major city in the country. We went to Vegas four times. I paid for resorts to stay for weekends. We saw every show and concert, hung out with celebrities.”

While Hitch did everything he could to “fulfill her expectations,” he claimed she “resented everything.”

“She had expectations of me and according to her I wasn’t fulfilling them,” he explained. “I had expectations from her and she wasn’t fulfilling them. She wasn’t communicating with me what they were. She would not talk. I had to beg for attention. It was humiliating.”

Tavares returned to Brazil for Christmas. She is now back in the United States and is living on her college campus.

“I loved her,” he said. “I wanted to take care of her. I think I fulfilled my promises. I feel good about what I did.”

He continued that he plans to file for divorce from Tavares.

“I need to move on,” he said. “I didn’t realize how attractive of a guy I am until we split. But I won’t see anyone until I am divorced.”

In January 2017, Hitch told RadarOnline.com that Tavares moved out of their home.

“She and I are not on the same page,” he said. “We have two different communication styles. The first year of marriage she was nice and innocent, but my patience is gone and I expect results. She’s not always going to get her way. I don’t want to pay for something we can’t afford.”

He told RadarOnline.com at the time that they were seeing a marriage counselor once a week.

“I’m optimistic,” he said. “Cassia may feel differently. I think she still loves me. We have to say I love you to each other more. We discussed that in therapy. I’m trying to do my best to make more money.”

Later in the month, Hitch was arrested for domestic battery against Tavares.

“Cassia Tavares and her husband, Jason Hitch, began arguing over marital issues while lying in bed,” the reporting officer wrote. “Jason then grabbed Rita by her left arm, leaving a mark and then pushed Rita off of the bed causing her to fall to the floor. Jason then began screaming at Rita to the point Rita was in fear and dialed 911 for law enforcement.

The officer confirmed she had “redness just above the crease of her inner arm on her lower bicep.” She denied medical attention.

When the officer made contact with Hitch, he explained how “nothing happened” and Tavares was being “rude and refused to sleep on the couch.” He claimed he “did not know” how she got the red mark on her arm.

The case was dropped.
