Anna Duggar Is 'Miserable' With Disgraced Husband Josh
Feb. 24 2018, Updated 9:58 p.m. ET
Josh Duggar has put his wife Anna through an emotional wringer, and it's not through yet, according to In Touch Weekly.
According to the website, an online source has claimed Anna is "miserable" in her marriage—and Josh "stares at every girl he meets!"
The 19 Kids and Counting wife's marriage to Josh was rocked after his past molestation scandal was revealed in 2015.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Josh's child molestation and infidelity scandals affected the Duggar family and their TV network, TLC, when the news surfaced.
Back then, In Touch revealed that Josh, now 29, was accused of molesting his younger sisters between 2002 and 2003. At the time, Duggar and the girls were all minors.
Josh's alleged sex crimes included "fondling" his four sisters' (and a family friend's) breasts and private areas, according to a shocking police report.
After Josh's scandal shocked America, TLC cancelled the Duggars' show 19 Kids and Counting, but they later brought them back in a new show focusing on the girls called Counting On, currently airing on the network. (The new season premieres this Monday, Feb. 26)
Josh, whose wife Anna is the mother of his five kids, has said he "acted inexcusably" when he was "a young teenager," and deeply regretted his actions.
But Josh was also busted in a salacious cheating scandal, admitted he had a pornography addiction, and sought help in Christian based rehab while wife Anna stood by him.
As RadarOnline.com recently reported, he is no longer in therapy.
But now, In Touch has reported, a reddit user who goes by annalove178 claims that Anna is "miserable."
The user started a thread on the website, writing, "I live in Springdale and my uncle and aunt go to the same home church as the Duggars. They've attended my church multiple times and I've hung out with them at family camps and home school retreats a lot. There seems to be a huge misconception that they're insane (I grew up around this so my definition is probably different than yours) but if you have any questions I can try to clear anything up to the best of my ability." The user was later "verified" by reddit's moderators.
Fans asked the user for details about various Duggar family members.
When one person asked if the family seemed "happy," the user replied, "Honestly, yes, the only one who seems like she's miserable is Anna. And as someone who has met Josh multiple times, he's not someone who seems like he'd be a whole lot of fun to be married too."
The Duggar source added about Josh, "He just stares at every girl he meets like she is an object for him to do something with. Most of the Duggar boys are very respectful and are good at keeping their eyes up — Josh never has been, and I know he was reprimanded a lot for his wandering eyes as a kid."
The annalover178 insider also wrote online, "They made an entire testimony about how it brought their family closer together. They seemed sad about it for about a year, but now they seem to have carried on life per normal."
According to the person, "Josh is working at a car lot….Anna is raising a herd of children like most women around here. The family doesn't seem to have distanced themselves from Josh. There's a lot of blame that falls on the women in these situations and I don't think that the Duggars completely blame Josh for what happened. I'm sure they've come up with some idea that Anna wasn't being a good wife."
The reddit user claimed that Anna changed after she married Josh. "I feel bad for her because wherever she goes someone asks her why she hasn't left him and she gets a lot of judgmental stares….She only ever seems happy when she's with her kids."
The Duggars haven't yet commented on annalove178's claims.
