Howard Stern Reveals His Dad's Ailing Health During Radio Show
Howard Stern has emotionally revealed his dad's health is horrible after visiting him on Father's Day.
After seeing Ben Stern, 94, on Sunday, June 17, Howard, 64, told fans during his radio show about his father's devastating medical issues.
On Monday's The Howard Stern Show, the shock jock revealed how Ben had lost most of his hearing, adding that his parents' lives consist mostly of doctor visits these days.
"My dad can barely hear now," Howard admitted. "He's stone deaf without his hearing aids."
Sadly, the radio titan said that his father repeatedly checked his watch waiting for Howard's visit to be over because Ben can no longer sit up for too long.
Howard told listeners that he later sat down with his mom, Ray, who updated him on Ben's health.
"We sit down to talk and its mostly about medical appointments and doctors," Howard explained.

Stern then told fans how he let his dad know how much he impacted his life.
He told him, "Dad, I want to say something to you on Father's Day. I want to thank you for giving me life. And on Father's Day I would also like to thank you for being very, very supportive of me going to college and paying for it. And I would also like to thank you for my radio career. You were always full of good advice."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Howard's dad had a health scare last April after Stern took an unprecedented day off.
But the radio host later said he'd merely taken a "sick day."
