Halle Berry Ordered By Court To Finalize Divorce From Olivier Martinez

Halle Berry and her estranged husband, Olivier Martinez, must finalize their divorce soon or face major consequences from the court!
According to documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com, the Superior Court of Los Angeles sent a notice giving the former celeb couple an ultimatum: submit a final judgement on the divorce, dismiss the case or show up next month in front of a judge.
Under California law, if the divorce has not been resolved after 18 months of the filing date, the court can order both sides to undergo a “family centered case resolution” process where both parties and their attorneys could come together and hash out an agreement. California courts implemented this process in January 2013 to move family law cases “in a timely, fair and effective manner,” according to the state courts website.
In the May 16, 2018 affidavit obtained by RadarOnline.com, the court ordered Berry and Martinez to appear on June 27 at a Los Angeles courthouse for a family centered case resolution conference. If either fails to appear, the court could dismiss the divorce and/or fine the former couple. Neither have to appear in court next month if they come to a resolution on the divorce or decide to dismiss the case altogether.
Halle initially filed for divorce from Martinez on October 26, 2015. The former couple have one child, Maceo, while Halle has a daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
According to court documents, a status only judgement was entered on December 29, 2016, meaning Berry and Martinez could claim “single” status on things such as their taxes, but a final judgement on the divorce has yet to be entered into the court docket.
Berry and her most recent boyfriend, Alex Da Kid, split up in 2017.
