Princess Diana BFF Elton John Snubbed From Meghan & Harry’s Wedding!

Elton John was not invited to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding! The wicked rejection comes after the music icon famously attended Prince William and Kate Middletons nuptials, as well as sang at Lady Dis funeral. h

“We haven’t had an invitation yet,” John, 71, told BBC Radio 2 this week.

“I live on a hill, so I could just roll down there,” John joked, adding that St. George’s Chapel — where Harry and Meghan will wed on May 19 — is “rolling distance.”

RadarOnline.com readers know the “I’m Still Standing” singer was a dear friend to the late Princess Diana.

“My heart sank when I saw those two boys walking behind the coffin,” Elton said after attending Kate and Will’s wedding in 2011 and recalling the last time he attended an event with the royals. “I thought that was the hardest thing, I can’t imagine at that young age having to walk in the public, following your mother’s coffin.”

“And the next time we’re in the Abbey it’s to see him walking up the aisle with a beautiful woman, the love of his life, I think it’s the most joyous result and I’m sure Diana would be very, very happy about it,” he said following the gorgeous ceremony.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Meghan, 36, and Harry, 33, have already sent out over a hundred of wedding invites to their lucky friends and loved ones. Among the invitees are Victoria Beckham, Mel B and the rest of the cheeky Spice Girls.

Sources also revealed that Meghan will have one of her longtime BFFs as her maid of honor, and various Hollywood pals in the audience!
