Derick Dillard Slams Child Abuse After Josh Duggar's Sex Molestation Scandal

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Is Derick Dillard trying to tell his brother-in-law, Josh Duggar, something?

RadarOnline.com has learned that Jill Duggar's outspoken husband went on Twitter to reveal he is "absolutely" not a supporter of child abuse.

"I just speak out against child abuse, and especially those who promote it, because it's the right thing to do," Dillard wrote. "It's just absolutely awful and should not be celebrated."

Dillard tweeted about the topic after a fan questioned him about TLC star Jazz Jennings' recent comment that he is "irrelevant" to her.

But instead of replying to fans with a comment about Jennings, Dillard decided to use the opportunity to speak about child abuse instead. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Dillard's brother-in-law Josh Duggar, 30, came under public scrutiny in 2015 for allegedly molesting his sisters in their childhood home in Arkansas.

Dillard's wife, Jill, 27, and her younger sister, Jessa, 25, appeared on Fox News to confess that they were two of their brother's alleged victims. They were minors at the time.

Since the sex abuse scandal, Josh has kept a low profile. However, sources revealed to RadarOnline.com earlier this year that the famous family has moved on and continues to treat Josh "normally."
