Tequila, Vodka, Rum & Wine: Demi Lovato's Trash Full Of Booze Bottles Before Overdose
July 26 2018, Updated 4:32 p.m. ET
Demi Lovato's recycling bin is always full of empty booze bottles, a trash collector has exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com.
Juan Carlos, a recycling guru, told RadarOnline.com that the troubled star's bin has kept him busy — until this week, when she was hospitalized for a drug overdose.
"Thanks to this house, we're able to keep our lights on," Carlos, accompanied by a fellow bottle collector, told RadarOnline.com, pointing at Lovato's Hollywood Hills home.
The gardener, who makes extra money picking up bottles and cans, was unaware the house was owned by the actress, saying, "Whoever lives here must have party all the time because there are so many empty alcohol bottles in the recycling bin."
"We come here for months and it’s always filled to the top!"
"Every week, there’s at least 20 or more and I take them all because I earn good money from recycling them," he said.
However, on Tuesday morning, July 24, Lovato was rushed to the hospital after emergency personnel responded to her home. She was allegedly "unconscious" after a night long bender, according to a 911 call.
In June, Lovato, 25, shocked fans by confessing she'd relapsed on drugs and alcohol. She admitted it by singing about the problem in her heartbreaking new song “Sober.”
The young star had previously spoken about her past cocaine and alcohol abuse and eating disorder and depression.
Lovato had been sober for six years, but she sang about the relapse, “Momma, I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore. And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor. To the ones who never left me, we’ve been down this road before. I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore."
Now she's headed to rehab after her overdose nightmare, a RadarOnline.com source has said.
Carlos, who was clueless about Lovato's dire situation, told RadarOnline.com, "This week, there are no bottles or recycling bins. They must be on vacation because today, no bottles. Next week, we come back."
Another man who accompanied Carlos on his collecting jaunt then chimed in and added that Lovato's trash dumpster was usually a gold mine: "Many, many bottles. Tequila, vodka, rum, wine, all empty."
