Danielle Staub’s husband is officially calling their marriage quits. RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on The Housewives of New Jersey star’s marriage meltdown.
Marty Caffrey filed for divorce from Staub less than four months after tying the knot in May, People reported.
A rep for Staub told RadarOnline.com, “I understand Marty is telling people he filed, but until we actually receive the filing, it does not exist. Danielle has not received any filing and we cannot comment on something we have not received.”
There is currently no docket in Bergen County Court for the divorce.
A source told RadarOnline.com earlier this week that Caffrey plans to file for divorce from Staub as soon as possible.
The drama started on August 13, 2018 when the couple got into an explosive fight at their home. Police were called twice.
Staub, 56, and Caffrey were granted temporary restraining orders that were set to expire on August 20, 2018.
The Bravo stars dropped their requests for permanent restraining orders, Page Six reported.
In Staub’s restraining order request, she accused her estranged husband of “domestic violence non-reported verbal abuse.”
Caffrey responded with a restraining order request of his own, claiming Staub threatened to “stab him in the neck at least a dozen times.”
RadarOnline.com previously reported that Staub has police protection at her home.
“Danielle has a marked police car outside her house now,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “Marty isn’t supposed to comeback to the house, but after he was escorted back by the police earlier in the week to pick things up from the home, Danielle was given police protection.”
