Mosley, who worked as an employee from October 2006 through her termination on January 8, 2007, claims she was harassed on the basis of her “gender and sex.”
“Defendant and owner Mani constantly and continuously sexually harassed Plaintiff by asking her out and telling her he would love to buy her a drink,” the complaint read. “Mani constantly and continuously sexually harassed Plaintiff by leering at her and her body.”
Mani, 47, allegedly told Mosley, “We all enjoy having your a** on the brochure,” in regards to her photo on the spa brochure.
In December 2006, Stodden’s new man allegedly gave Mosley Victoria’s Secret lingerie with a holiday card stating he would “suspend the office dress code so that Plaintiff could wear the lingerie to work.”
Mani is also accused of telling his then-employee, “I told my trip partner all about you. Maybe we should go on a trip sometime.”
Mosley claims Defendants failed to properly implement policies, practices and procedures to investigate sexual harassment.
The employee described the work environment as “abusive” and “hostile.”
“When Plaintiff was terminated, Plaintiff’s complaint about sex harassment, discrimination and/or retaliation were motivating reasons and/or factors in Plaintiff’s termination,” the papers read of when she filed complaints with the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing. “Plaintiff has been caused, and did suffer, and continues to suffer severe and permanent emotional and mental distress and anguish, humiliation, embarrassment, fright, shock, pain, discomfort, and anxiety."
In Dr. Mani’s response, he claims he “took all appropriate actions to prevent any discriminatory, retaliatory or harassing conduct from occurring.”
The Defendant asked the complaint be dismissed, Defendants be awarded costs of suit, attorneys’ fees and further relief the court may deem proper.
The case was dismissed on April 14, 2009.
Stodden, 22, was spotted with Dr. Mani on Valentine’s Day.
Stodden married Hutchison at the age of 16 years old in 2011. She confirmed in an interview with Star Magazine that she’s “legally separated” from her husband.
