Oxenberg, who is fighting for her child India's life after she was allegedly brainwashed into becoming a slave in the NXIVM cult, attended Raniere's status hearing on Tuesday June 12.
“I’m very relieved to see this man behind bars," she told Radar exclusively. "I love my daughter with all my heart. My daughter is not in the right mind and that’s what this NXIVM cult has done to her."
The Dynasty actress expressed her disdain for Allison Mack, who's also charged with helping Raniere but please guilty and is free on $5 million bond. "Allison Mack was my daughter’s direct superior in NXIVM," Catherine said. "She deserves to be held accountable for what she’s done.”
As Radar readers know, the judge denied Raniere's request to be released on a $10 million bond.
The 57-year-old has been accused of cultivating a twisted secret society within NXIVM which held ceremonies that turned victims into sex slaves. Raniere was also said to have branded its victims with his initials during the horrific initiation.
Last month, India spoke exclusively to Radar, revealing it’s been a “tough” time for her since Mack’s arrest for sex trafficking.
India denied ever hearing from her actress mother, who claimed she was trying to intervene and save her daughters life. “I haven’t heard from her actually. She uses media. It’s kind of bizarre,” India told Radar exclusively.
