Catelynn Lowell RIPPED For Pregnancy Announcement Amid Substance Abuse Issues

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Catelynn Lowell announced she's expecting her third child with husband Tyler Baltierra – but fans weren't happy for the couple! The Teen Mom OG star received backlash after sharing the shocking news.

Lowell captioned a photo of a sonogram with a cartoon baby, "Proud to announce a new baby Baltierra."

But only moments later, Lowell revealed she was "just kidding." She added, "I would love one soon."

Although it was a joke, fans weren't laughing.

"Pregnancy is not something to joke around about," a user commented. "I would give anything to be pregnant again, especially after losing my son at 18 weeks."

Another hater fired, "I love Catelynn but coming from someone who has been having infertility issues for six years now, joking about a baby isn't a joke, it is in fact cruel and insensitive."

Fans also believe it is too soon for Lowell to welcome another child, as she suffered from postpartum depression and completed a stint in rehab after giving birth to daughter Novalee.

"One child is hard and you really seemed to struggle," a Twitter user wrote. "Two kids is WAY harder, hope you are mentally ready."

Lowell was even caught on camera smoking marijuana. On an episode, Baltierra asked his wife over the phone, "Where's the roaches at?" (A slang term for remains of a joint.)

Lowell then threw her sweater on the cameras while driving as her mom said, "We're going to boogie town." A light igniting and Lowell coughing could be heard in the background.

Lowell, who placed daughter Carly with an adoptive family in 2009, admitted over social media that she owns a registry identification card for marijuana.
