Entourage Unleashed: Cardi B & Co. Assaulted Fans, Fled Scene After Met Gala

Members of Cardi B's entourage allegedly assaulted a persistent fan who attempted to get the rapper's autograph after Monday night's Met Gala, police confirmed to RadarOnline.com.

"Last night around 2:15 in the morning in front of 25 East 77th Street police received a call for an assault," Detective Brown of the NYPD told RadarOnline.com.

The detective said the victim, a fan of Cardi B's, was attempting "to seek an autograph" from the female rapper when he "claimed he was assaulted and pushed to the ground."

The injured fan was transported to New York Presbyterian Hospital for non-life threatening injuries, including neck and back pain, the detective said.

Police confirmed Cardi B's entourage then "fled the scene."

Detective Brown said it is currently "unknown" how many suspects there are and if they are male or female. As of Tuesday morning, the NYPD confirmed the case is still under investigation.

The Met Gala is one of New York's most anticipated events of the year. It was Cardi B's first time attending the fashion-forward event.
