Artie Lange is back!
On Friday, the comedian took to Twitter to reveal to his followers that he was 32 days sober.
"I’m back guys. Clean & sober 32 days. One day at a time," Lange tweeted.
The 50-year-old expressed gratitude to his fans for sticking with him through all of his ups and downs.
"Thx to u guys. The greatest fans in the world. I love you all for not forgetting me. To the ones who did. I’m so sorry. I’m a junky. But a recovering one right now," Lange admitted.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lange was hospitalized shortly after his court hearing last month. He had planned to attend rehab, but according to the Essex County Court prosecutor, he became "too ill" too fly and had to be hospitalized.
Shortly after new years, Lange entered a rehab facility out of the state. He is expected to be back in New Jersey this weekend, and will make an appearance on The Anthony and Artie show after a long absence from the show.
"I’m gonna stop by the AA show Monday... I am not sure they’ll have me back. But I f**ked up. Keith and Anthony are my brothers," Lange added.
On December 15, Lange pled guilty to possession of heroin. In exchange for the plea, prosecutors dismissed February 2016 charges of cocaine possession that were brought against him.
He is expected back in court on February 23.
