Anna Wintour Admits She Cried & Tried To Escape Kanye West's Chaotic Runway Show

Hate to break it to you Kim and Kanye, but according to Anna Wintour, you are not so hot!

The Vogue editor stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Tuesday, revealing what she really thought of West's most recent runway show at Madison Square Garden.

According to Wintour, she arrived early for the event —as per usual — and found herself sitting alone while waiting for the Kardashian klan to arrive.

Forty-five minutes into the show, the 66-year-old recalled seeing VIP guest Jay Z duck out early. But when she tried to follow suit, Wintour found herself wandering the MSG basement for quite some time.

"I was lost there for half an hour, asking various people to let me out," Wintour told Meyers. "I don't know if you've ever been to the basement of Madison Square Garden—"

"No, because I don't wear sunglasses inside, so I see exit signs," Meyers teased her in reply.

"I was in tears," Wintour continued, adding that a security guard who just so happened to have coached her son's baseball team eventually helped her out.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Wintour seems to be souring on West and the Kardashians, despite a publicly friendly relationship. For starters, she didn't mention West's brand as one of her favorites among the fall 2016 collections.

"I wish the designers had taken a little bit more risks and the ones that did really stood out," noted the famed editrix, who praised Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein.

What started it all? One possible reason: Kim Kardashian, 35, disobeyed Wintour's wishes by posting selfies on her social media during last year's Met Gala, despite an announcement that guests were forbidden to do so.
