Angela Simmons Pays Sad Tribute To Baby Daddy After He's Found Shot To Death
Angela Simmons' baby daddy, Sutton Tennyson, was reportedly found shot to death in the garage of his home on Saturday.
After the news broke, Angela, the daughter of famed rapper Joseph "Reverend Run" Simmons who appeared on MTV's Run's House, paid touching tribute to the father of her two-year-old son, also named Sutton.
Angela, 31, posted an Instagram photo of Tennyson holding her boy with the caption, "Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift . I’m hurting . I’m numb. Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone . I cant believe I’m even saying Rest In Peace Sutton . I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise ❣️."
Tennyson's body was reportedly discovered in southwest Atlanta yesterday at around 4:30 p.m.
According to news reports, police claimed that the 37-year-old appeared to have been shot after a dispute between three people. Everyone has been identified and there are no suspects at large. But as yet, there have been no arrests.
Major Michael O’Connor with Atlanta Police said that the house where the body was found was under renovation. Medics tried to revive Tennyson but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Angela shot to fame on the TV shows Run's House, Daddy's Girls, and Growing Up Hip Hop.
Born into Rev Run's first family of hip-hop music, Angela became a fashion designer.
But she achieved her biggest dream in 2016 by giving birth to baby boy Sutton Joseph, named after his dad Tennyson.
