Amy Roloff missed her ex-husband Matt's father's recent birthday party which included most of the rest of the Little People, Big World clan.

But this weekend, Amy is sharing the happy news that she's taking a trip down memory lane on her own in her Michigan hometown.

Amy, 53, has posted multiple photos for the past few days on Instagram.

On Saturday, she shared a selfie in which she's standing in front of a placard on the campus of Central Michigan University, her alma mater.

The mom wrote as a caption, "After visiting CMU (Fire Up Chips) Driving up north heading to the U.P. (Upper Peninsula) of Michigan to visit with my family. We hang out up there during the summer ☀?. Man do I love road trips. I'm having a blast. #lovemichigan #itsaboutfamily #cmugrad #amyssecondactcontinues."

Last weekend, as RadarOnline.com reported, Amy's ex Matt celebrated his father Ron's 80th birthday with his girlfriend Caryn Chandler in California.

Amy wasn't there but Matt's social media photo showed all of their four children attended the bash—sons Jeremy, Zach (with wife Tori and their baby son, Jackson), and Jacob (and his fiancée Isabel), and even reclusive daughter Molly! Jeremy's wife Audrey and daughter Ember weren't in the picture but she later explained that she and the baby girl had attended a friend's wedding instead.

From Amy's Instagram posts on that July 21 weekend, it looked like she was spending the weekend with her friends and dog.

But soon after that, it appeared she hit the road to Michigan, where she was born.

She wrote on Instagram the trip was "all about visiting and celebrating life long cherished friendships."

She shared a photo of an old pen pal and another of a close friend.

"Loved spending time and having a girls sleep over at my parents cottage w/ my good friend Ellen from high school and ever since. Loved cooking for her, sharing memories, looking at old slides and laughing. I love coming back 'home'!" Amy declared in her caption.

Amy shared a shot of yet another friend earlier, identifying, "my long time friend Kathy from college. Way too short of a time visiting with her. we had a blast going down memory lane and catching up on each other's lives. Wish I had more time in Michigan. I'd definitely be here longer ?❤."

The LPBW matriarch posted a throwback picture of herself as a little girl as well on Instagram.

She clearly had fun looking through old photos on her relaxing break from Roloff Farm!

However, where was her boyfriend, Chris Marek?

Amy hasn't mentioned Marek at all during the Michigan trip, which is particularly glaring as she recently attended his family reunion in a big sign of their closeness.
