It’s been one month since former teen heartthrob Aaron Carter completed treatment but a close friend of the singer tells exclusively he's “struggling” to stay sober!

“Aaron just feels smothered right now by his friends and family because they will literally not let him out of their sight at all,” the pal revealed.

As fans know, after suffering a breakdown on the TV show The Doctors, Carter, 30, entered a treatment facility on Sept. 22. But after leaving shortly thereafter, he reentered another rehab center in October and remained there until completing the program last month.

“He is going to recovery meetings and working with a therapist as well as a psychiatrist and addiction specialist,” the source added.
