Aaron Carter Brags About Owning 500 Guns Despite Schizophrenia & Addiction

Aaron Carter just dropped some bizarre news.

On his latest appearance on The Doctors. the wild singer — who has long struggled with addiction — admitted he hid his toxic habit for years, and revealed his love of guns!

On the show, Carter’s drug test results were disclosed, and despite claiming he’s sober, he tested positive for opiates, marijuana and benzodiazepines. The benzodiazepines are part of the 16 prescription drugs the star said he takes every single day to help with his multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia and anxiety.

The singer also opened up about his huffing addiction, saying he started young and took measures to hide it from everyone.

“That’s something I kept secret from the whole world until now…it started when I was 16, my sister Leslie who passed away from an overdose got me into it,” Carter, 31, revealed. “I didn’t really touch it until I was about 23, right after I did Dancing With The Stars, and then I started going to Staples and Office Depot, buying it with cash so it wouldn’t be reported on receipts.”

He said he did it because he “was fu***ing stupid and sad,” but mostly because he’s “a drug addict.”

Carter then voiced his thoughts on gun control, and admitted he owns plenty of weapons himself.

“I’m inheriting 500…from my father who passed away…and I also have the 2nd amendment, which is the right to bear arms. I fully endorse that and nobody is going to change my mind,” he said.

 As RadarOnline.com readers know, the star often posts about his guns on social media, bragging about his rifles and sharing videos of him using them.

As of now, Carter said, he’s out of rehab and doing “amazing.” While he’s on a collection of medications, he said he has not touched any drug besides marijuana.
