Zayn Malik’s shocking decision to quit One Direction broke hearts all over the world, and RadarOnline.com has a gallery of the first photos of the singer since the split — which sources say was over his partying.
The day after Zayn Malik quit One Direction he was photographed arriving at a London studio.
The 22-year-old sports a full beard and has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth.
Malik was looking rough, and multiple sources told RadarOnline.com that and he was given an ultimatum – either clean up or get out. Here he is arriving at Heathrow airport after leaving the Asian leg of the tour.
"Zayn’s alcohol and drug use became a huge problem," a source connected to the upper management for the band told Radar.
"He chose not to get clean and that is when they parted ways," the insider said.
Malik’s band mates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne are still on tour without him.
"They gave him every opportunity to clean up his act, but he just couldn’t do it," the source told Radar.
