The photos fans were never meant to see! As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson, 31, married longtime love Alan Stevenson, 25, in a secret filmed ceremony intended to air on a new season Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. After the show was abruptly canceled, the video hit the cutting room floor. However, the couple is exclusively sharing their adorable photo album with RadarOnline.com readers.
So excited! Lee and Alan arrived at their venue, Le Buzz lounge in Marietta, Georgia, on the morning of October 16. “We were just goofing around,” Lee tells RadarOnline.com.
Meet and greet! Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 15, posed with the grooms’ drag queen friend Empress Christy Blair. Blair “can meet a complete stranger and turn them into a friend right away,” Lee claims.
Blair and Jessica “Chubbs” Shannon, 17, hung out at a quick pre-wedding dinner, where chicken and pasta was served.
Lee’s beloved niece Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, 9, was thrilled to meet Blair. “Alana loved playing dress up with her earrings!” he says. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Alana’s mother Mama June Shannon, 35, passed out for three hours during the big day, leaving her youngest daughter unattended. Fortunately, the drag queen pals were available to babysit.
While guests mixed and mingled before the ceremony, a “goofy and incoherent” June took a long nap on a couch. “Production had to force her to get up!” Lee says.
The flower girl wore white! Alana preceded Lee and Alan down the aisle, while the couple’s cat Scooter served as ring bearer.
So glitzy! The former pageant queen even tested Blair’s sequined heels.
The nuptials’ 20 guests included Blair and the grooms’ drag queen friend Heather Daniels.
Lee and Alan wore matching button-down shorts, jeans and belts for their big day. “Green is Alan’s favorite color, blue is mine,” Lee explains. “He wanted green for the wedding, so we went with green!” Guests later noshed on two cakes: one rainbow, and the other chocolate ganache.
Unsatisfied with their quickie union orchestrated by the show’s producers, Lee says he and Alan are planning a second ceremony. Sadly, Alana and her sisters are unlikely to attend after Mama June ignited a family feud last fall. (The family matriarch was caught canoodling with her child molester ex.)
