Texas Family Slaughtered: Famous Pianist's Wife Pleads Not Guilty To Murdering Two Young Daughters
The day after she was charged with capital murder in the deaths of their two young daughters, renowned Ukranian pianist Vadym Kholodenko's estranged wife, Sofya Tsygankova, pleaded not guilty to the gruesome crimes in Texas court on March 23.

Tsygankova, 31, seemed frightened as she arrived at the Fort Worth courthouse in an orange jump suit. On March 17, cops discovered the mother of two in a bloody nightgown and daughters Nika, 5, and Michela, 1, dead in their home.

She seemed to have lacerations on her arms as she gave her plea. As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, officers noticed "a cut inside of her left wrist" and a "puncture wound" on her chest when they arrived at the scene. Police say her injuries required surgery.

In happier times, the family posed for a smiling portrait. But behind the scenes, Tsygankova seemed to be suffering. Police say she sought mental health treatment before the murders.
