Later, Lexi! Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant fan-favorite Lexi Tatman has been fired from the series during filming for season two, The Ashley's Reality Roundup reported.
"MTV basically felt that her story wasn't interesting enough to continue with," a source claimed to the website. "Lexi was not the one who discontinued filming. Lexi really had no idea that she was not going to be part of Season 2."
The insider alleged, "Nothing big happened or anything. She wasn't being punished." This is a contrast from Farrah Abraham, who was fired from Teen Mom OG because of her treatment of producers and return to the porn industry.

Lexi is reportedly being replaced with a new girl from Virginia, who has begun filming.
Lexi has remained quiet over social media in light of the alleged firing. As readers know, Lexi's storyline consisted of drama with Kyler Lopez, who is the father of her son, Tobias, 1. Lopez refused to be in an exclusive relationship with her. After co-parenting their son, they made their relationship official.
Lexi's firing is one of the many changes MTV has made to boost ratings. Briana DeJesus, who starred on Teen Mom 3, was added to the Teen Mom 2 cast in 2017. After Abraham's firing from Teen Mom OG, Palin and Floyd were added to the cast.
RadarOnline.com exclusively reported earlier this month that producers are making a change after lackluster TMOG ratings. "There's been talk about more airtime for certain friends and family," a source close to production told RadarOnline.com. "Tyler Baltierra's friend River Ceballos has been approached by MTV to film scenes with him."
