Is Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant getting cancelled? The new MTV show that follows a new crop of young mothers wrapped their first season and cast members sent out cryptic messages about the future of the show. Ashley Jones and Brianna Jaramillo had fans in a frenzy with their “goodbye” messages but sources close to the show told RadarOnline.com exclusively what the future holds for the series. “Well ladies . Here goes my heartfelt post about what an honor its been to be apart of a tv show with you girls . So grateful that our cast is full of love and understanding, and when times get hard we all reach out ❤️❤️ it’s been a long emotional journey . But that’s a wrap❤️ wouldn’t have done it any other way,” Jones wrote on her Instagram page after the MTV cast members filmed the reunion.
Jamarmillo’s response stirred the pot even more. “Ladies I am honored to have had the chance to work with you all! ? you are all amazing mothers and women in general. I hope this isn’t goodbye but just see you later . ??,” she cryptically wrote.
Jones and Jaarmillo star with Kayla Sessler, Lexi Tatman and Jade Cline on the MTV show.
Multiple sources close the show told RadarOnline.com that TM: Young and Pregnant was not getting cancelled.
“The Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant cast has not been notified that the show is ending,” a show insider told RadarOnline.com.
“Stories circulating that the show is cancelled are completely fabricated and untrue at this point,” the source said.
The MTV source insisted cancellation rumors were unfounded. “While they are based off something ONE cast member posted, no decision has been made.”
“From what the cast has been told thus far, the show seems like it is going to be renewed for another season and will likely keep going,” the snitch told RadarOnline.com.
"That’s all there is to it at this time.”
Jones recently slammed Teen Mom OG to RadarOnline.com, claiming that Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant was more successful because the show is “up to date.”
“MTV has for years been showing the struggles of what it’s been like to be a Teen Mom,” Jones told RadarOnline.com. “They revamped it.. It’s fast-paced and up-to-date.”
Jones took a dig at TMOG star Maci Bookout. “Maci was a teen 10 years ago,” she said. “It’s changed.”
Tragedy hit the girls as well. Jade Cline told RadarOnline.com that she was “heartbroken” and “worried” about her grandmother’s cancer diagnosis.
