‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Kailyn Lowry Defends Baby Daddy In MTV Face Blurring Controversy

She’s got his back! Kailyn Lowry begged MTV not to show her baby daddy Chris Lopez’ face on Teen Mom 2, but her requests were ignored, a source close to the reality star exclusively told RadarOnline.com. When Chris lashed out at the show, slamming their decision to not blur him out his baby mama leapt to his defense. Chris, the father of Kailyn’s youngest son Lux, ripped into MTV for showing his face on Teen Mom 2 on his first podcast, Everybody Hates Lop.

“My head is a bit confused because it’s like, y’all have been blurring my face out for two years and now all of a sudden you can randomly unblur me,” Chris said about being shown with Kailyn on TM2 for the first time.
Trickery
“They say it’s a public event and that’s why you can unblur my face. To me, how was it public?” Chris continued.

A source close to Kailyn told RadarOnline.com that she supported Chris and tried to honor his wishes against MTV.

“This is not truthful,” the Kailyn source explained to RadarOnline.com about the filming situation.

“He never signed waivers to be on the show, but he showed up to a public event where he knew there would be cameras,” the insider close to Kailyn explained.

On his podcast Chris slammed Teen Mom 2. “I honestly just don’t want to be on, especially that show. Gimme my own show,” he said.

According to the source, his baby mama went to bat for her baby daddy.
Filming Request
“Kail wanted him to be blurred and asked for this because she knew he didn’t want to be on camera, and she didn’t want to argue over it with him,” the insider revealed.
Getting Ignored
“Unfortunately, production didn’t listen to Kail or take her personal feelings on the situation into consideration,” the source explained.
End Result
“And so, his face ended up being shown even though Kail did not want nor ask for this.”
Instant Anger
Chris was furious with his face being shown he said on his podcast. “I basically made my first official appearance on that show. But it was not something I agreed on,” he said.

"They found a loophole," Chris complained. "They was thirsty, and when you’re thirsty enough or hungry enough, you’re gonna do what you’ve got to do to get it.”

Chris said on his podcast there were no hard feelings, and especially not against Kailyn.

“I’m not mad, because, you feel me, they caught me. I was at Kailyn’s event out of love and support so I’m not mad about that,” Chris said.
Duped Again
He was adamant that he was tricked into filming. “But I ain’t gonna lie; if you had told me, ‘They can film you and they can unblur your face,’ not gonna lie, I might not have shown up," Chris said on his podcast. "No disrespect, but I’m just trying to let people know that I just don’t want no part of TM2.”
